Taking everything into consideration, we can say that Twilight hardly has any practicality. Considering it lacks even basic accessibility options, it gets frustrating to see it pop up every time you launch Windows, especially since there's no option to disable this. The timer is a good idea, but it needs to function before it comes in handy.

Simple design

Apart from a timer, the only feature of the software is a light level adjustment slider. Thankfully, it also has an implementation of auto-dimming, which might be needed for practicality

It’s not developed by most, if any, well known developer, but it’s still capable of adjusting brightness in Windows 7 and higher. There is also a timer function that you can use to adjust brightness at a specified time of day.
It’s not the best way to do it, but it’s simple and easy to use. You might think that it is not a must have application, but there is a serious drawback to it – it will not adjust brightness in newer versions of Windows. It is not compatible with Windows 10/Windows 8.1.
