Documenting Your Work
Many of us have found it to be a chore to manually document the drawings and annotations that we create. Even if we do it, it’s often difficult to find a way to keep our notes and thoughts together and easily accessible. When you need to write down your thoughts and plans while you’re working on your project, use something like a notebook that you can easily transport with you on the computer.
Here are some things you can do to make it easier to document your work on your AutoCAD drawings:
Ad
Save often. If you’re working on a drawing that will take more than a few hours to complete, save it periodically during the work. That way you can return to the drawing and find your notes. Or you may even want to use a separate application to store the drawings and notes (for example, the Illustrator or SketchUp application).

Use annotations. The AutoCAD editor automatically keeps track of where you click and when you type, which saves time and makes it easy to jump back and forth among various annotations in a drawing. However, you can also manually add annotations to a drawing as a way to quickly and easily store important information.
Create notes. Many CAD programs (including AutoCAD) have a “notes” feature that you can use to store information about various aspects of the drawing that you find important. When you create a new drawing, you can use the notes feature to store information about the drawing. Keep in mind that you can access notes only when you are working in the drawing that the notes belong to, and the information is stored in the drawing file itself. So if you create a new drawing but continue working on the previous drawing, the notes will not be available in the new one.
If you find it difficult to remember where you put certain information, you can always store it in the notes of the drawing. This way, if you need to find it later, all you have to do is open the drawing and look in the notes.
Save comments. Another way to make it easy to find annotations and notes is to store them in the drawing comments. AutoCAD automatically creates a comment for each annotation. If you make a drawing and then add an annotation, a drawing comment automatically appears with the annotation. You can also create a separate drawing comment to hold information about the drawing. You can store various types of data in the

Learning CAD
The use of CAD for design and drafting work can be a very complex task and can require a knowledge of a variety of tools and specialised techniques. CAD can be a time-consuming process, requiring a person to have a range of skills including computer literacy, drafting ability and understanding of mathematics. It can require a considerable investment in hardware and software. CAD software is available for a wide range of operating systems, although on Windows, the most common operating system, Autodesk’s AutoCAD software is available on many desktop platforms and a variety of mobile devices. Learning CAD is a long-term project and many users find it very difficult to get up to speed with CAD software. Once it is learnt, there is the ongoing challenge of becoming familiar with the latest changes and developing an understanding of how CAD software works.
History
Before Autodesk acquired it, Bryce created an interactive drawing program called “Inscribe” in 1982, which was essentially a CAD-type application that drew on a tablet. In 1984, Autodesk released AutoCAD, a “CAD on disk” system that allowed users to design, view, and modify drawings on their own hard drives. AutoCAD also became available on the Apple Macintosh in 1984. In 1989, Autodesk released a vector graphics editor called VectorWorks that was very similar to Adobe Illustrator, and VectorWorks was the company’s third popular graphics package after AutoCAD and the now defunct Maya. VectorWorks was used to produce a few early movies, including The Goonies and Raggedy Ann and Andy.
AutoCAD introduced 3D design capabilities in 1994, but they did not become popular until Autodesk released AutoCAD LT in 2002.
The AutoCAD Programmable System (APS) was introduced in 1999, providing a programming interface to AutoCAD software. When the G-code language became available, it was used for object-level programming within AutoCAD to perform mechanical tasks (such as milling or routing).
The first version of AutoCAD for Mac was introduced in 1995, called the “Draw” application. This was succeeded by the “Académie” release, which featured a more sophisticated interface and was bundled with the “Draw” application.
The first version of AutoCAD for the Palm OS was released in 1999, and used the Palm OS’s Quickdraw graphic user interface (GUI). These early versions of the application were heavily criticized for poor design.

Q:
Add positive number to formula
How do I add a positive number to a formula?
For example:
$7+11+15+19=55$
How would I multiply this $7+11+15+19$ by 50?
A:
The formula that you have in your question is wrong, you have not added the numbers.
If $a$ is a positive integer then $$a+11=11a;.$$
First up, a quick announcement: I know I’ve been completely MIA as of late. I’ve been under the weather, but feel much better now so the next few posts will be back to normal.
While perusing the website of the French commune of Bolozone on Friday, I came across a little gem: an urn which looks like it’s been used to age port over the past 500 years. The urn is covered with images of ships and other maritime objects, including the HMS Beagle, the 1612 ship which carried Charles Darwin around the world.
The urn is unusual because it was made for the town of Bolozone by a French artist, Jean Luc Gebara. But it’s also interesting because it’s one of the very few ancient urns found to have been used to age port.
“What makes this one of the oldest urns of port so special is that the vintner who produced this one (or its predecessors) had such a long tradition of making good port,” said Michelle Lechevalier, who wrote the blog post about the urn.
“And he made at least five of them,” she said, “All of them date to the late 1500’s.”
What’s so impressive is that the “yesterday’s-tomorrow’s” ports didn’t just have a long life, they also had an exceptionally long shelf-life.
“There is nothing more powerful than that,” she said. “That you can have a dish from the future that tastes just like the dish from yesterday.”
And of course, that’s also what brings us back to our little story about the HMS Beagle.
The HMS Beagle, long an icon of English maritime history, was a
What’s New In AutoCAD?
New Version of the AutoCAD Plunge Pen:
Create precise and smooth linear contours with the new AutoCAD Plunge Pen that supports the ISO 1:1 Drafting Initiative. (video: 7:48 min.)
Integrated Client Tools:
Select and copy multiple layers for use with the Ruler tool and Layer Select tool, without separating the layers first. Create and view a page layout from a design drawing. (video: 4:00 min.)
Save Time with Updated Design Manager and Performance App:
In previous releases of AutoCAD, drawing multiple closed areas created unnecessary design layouts and still took more time to perform a search and replace. The Design Manager is completely redesigned and now supports simultaneous editing of multiple views, giving you a faster and more effective way to create more sophisticated design layouts. You can work with many views of your drawings at one time, allowing you to edit the most accurate view or working area. Additionally, your drawings will run faster than ever before. The Performance App has also been completely reworked with new features to help you create better designs. (video: 1:14 min.)
Advanced Support for Creation of High Density Plot Files:
Design with the new Enterprise Edition of AutoCAD and you can now design and produce 3D plots and solid models that meet the industry standard (PL-3 and PL-2) for print quality. (video: 1:19 min.)
New Feature:
“Preview Drafting” command:
Now you can preview a draft with multiple layers enabled. Enabling layers and edit a view without affecting other views. (video: 3:01 min.)
New Feature:
A new option to allow you to create multi-row, multi-column layouts with a single command. (video: 2:29 min.)
Improved Appearance:
Arrow, object, and text styles have been optimized for better appearance on black and white drawings and on several screen types. Text on panels and graphics in AutoCAD Add-in applications will also look crisper and cleaner. (video: 1:29 min.)
Improvements to the Windows User Interface:
AutoCAD now automatically adapts to window sizes and uses the available space for the most efficient placement of user interface controls, making it easier to view and work with your drawings.
Improved Task Bar:
Many new features are now available on
